Sedona 11/11: Balancing the Masculine & Feminine

A Private Ceremonial Retreat with Huachuma & Sassafras

November 11–15, 2026 · Sedona, Arizona

Throughout 2026, the Temple of the Eagle and Condor has been holding a deeper ceremonial prayer around the masculine and feminine.

Our Men’s Retreat creates a space for men to gather, remember, and restore their relationship with the sacred masculine.

Our Women’s Retreat creates a space for women to gather, soften, and reconnect with the sacred feminine.

The 11/11 Sedona Retreat completes this ceremonial arc.

After honoring these energies separately, we now bring them together—not as opposing forces, but as complementary expressions of one divine intelligence.

11/11: Balancing the Masculine & Feminine is a private five-day retreat devoted to restoring balance between these energies within ourselves so that our lives, relationships, and creations can begin to reflect that same divine order.

Held within the potent vortex of Sedona, this journey brings together Huachuma as an expression of the sacred masculine and Sassafras as an expression of the sacred feminine.

Two medicines.
Two sacred energies.
One prayer of divine balance.

The Masculine Within

The sacred masculine brings clarity, direction, discernment, presence, structure, and the strength to stand fully in our truth.

When balanced, the masculine protects without controlling. It creates structure without constriction. It gives our visions direction and provides a grounded foundation through which life can move.

When disconnected from the feminine, however, masculine energy can become rigid, forceful, overly mental, or consumed by doing. Direction becomes control. Protection becomes defense. Strength becomes disconnected from the heart.

We begin our ceremonial journey with Huachuma—the Grandfather medicine and sacred cactus of the Andes.

Huachuma carries a steady and clarifying presence. It invites us to see our lives truthfully, reconnect with purpose, and recognize where greater integrity, responsibility, boundaries, or direction may be needed.

Through Huachuma, we will explore our relationship with the masculine within us—not only the masculine expressed through men, but the energy of presence, clarity, action, and consciousness that lives within every person.

This medicine was grown from seed to cactus by my teacher in the Sacred Valley of Peru, and then was personally cooked by me for 5 days - removing all of the plant matter and concentrating it into a tea (making it very easy to drink). It is extremely potent and beautiful medicine, and I am honored and privileged to share it with you.

The Feminine Within

The sacred feminine brings intuition, receptivity, compassion, creativity, nourishment, emotional intelligence, and the capacity to receive life fully.

When balanced, the feminine softens what has become rigid. She reconnects us with feeling, opens us to the wisdom of the body, and reminds us that life is not something we must constantly force or control.

When disconnected from the masculine, however, feminine energy can become ungrounded, overwhelmed, directionless, or unable to bring its deepest knowing into form.

Our culminating ceremony is held with Sassafras—an alchemical heart medicine that invites the emotional body to soften and open.

Sassafras supports us in reconnecting with vulnerability, compassion, trust, and authentic feeling. It creates space for what has been protected or held beneath the surface to emerge without force.

Through Sassafras, we will explore our relationship with the feminine within us—the energy of feeling, intuition, surrender, creation, and receptivity that lives within every person.

Returning to Divine Order

This retreat is not about choosing the masculine over the feminine or the feminine over the masculine.

It is about restoring right relationship between them.

The masculine creates the structure through which the feminine can safely open.

The feminine brings the heart, intuition, and living wisdom that allow masculine direction to serve something greater than itself.

One provides the container.
The other fills it with life.

One offers direction.
The other reveals what is worth moving toward.

One grounds the prayer into form.
The other keeps that form connected to the soul.

When these energies are balanced within us, we no longer have to choose between strength and softness, clarity and feeling, action and surrender, or structure and freedom.

They begin to move together.

This is divine order—not a rigid system imposed upon us, but an organic state of balance in which each energy is able to express its true nature in relationship with the other.

As this order is restored within, it begins to be reflected without.

In how we lead.
In how we love.
In how we create.
In how we receive.
In how we relate to men and women.
In how we meet the Earth and the world around us.

This is the deeper prayer at the heart of the Temple of the Eagle and Condor: that what has been divided can return to sacred relationship.

Masculine and feminine.
Mind and heart.
Earth and sky.
Giving and receiving.
Power and humility.
Eagle and Condor.

Not merging into sameness, but coming into balance.

The 11/11 Sedona Portal

Sedona offers a powerful landscape for this work.

Its red earth, open sky, ancient stone, and energetic vortex create a natural meeting place between grounded presence and the unseen.

On the threshold of 11/11, we will enter this landscape with a shared intention:

To recognize where the masculine and feminine have fallen out of balance within us.

To heal the patterns that keep these energies divided.

To restore trust between structure and surrender, strength and softness, direction and intuition.

And to allow our outer lives to become a reflection of the divine order we are restoring within.
