Join us September 11th–14th in Bloomington, Indiana for a small private women’s retreat where we will gather to reconnect with the body, soften the nervous system, open the heart, and return to deeper levels of truth, intuition, emotional healing, and feminine remembrance through ceremony, nature, embodiment, music, and prayer.

This retreat was intentionally designed to create a safe and grounded space where women can step away from the noise of daily life and give themselves permission to slow down, feel, heal, and reconnect to what is truly alive within them.

Women will arrive on the afternoon and evening of September 11th, where we will gather for an opening sharing circle to orient to our time together, open the space with intention and prayer, and begin connecting more deeply with one another, the land, and the deeper reasons we have been called here.

That evening, we will enter into our first ceremony together working with the Grandfather medicine of Huachuma — the sacred cactus of the Andes.

What makes this ceremony particularly unique is that Huachuma is traditionally worked with during the daytime, under the sun. In this retreat, however, we will intentionally be entering into a nighttime Huachuma ceremony — creating an entirely different energetic experience that allows women to journey inward in a deeper, softer, more intimate way.

Rather than being externally oriented through movement and activity, the nighttime space creates an opportunity to slow down, soften the senses, open emotionally, and connect deeply to the body, intuition, dreams, prayer, the subconscious, and the inner feminine landscape.

Huachuma is a profoundly heart-opening medicine that creates healing and clarity at all levels while helping individuals access greater authenticity, emotional truth, connection to nature, spiritual insight, and alignment with their lives.

This cactus comes from the Sacred Valley of Peru and is grown seed-to-cactus over the course of 7–9 years by my teachers. I then cook the cactus down over the course of 5 days, removing all plant matter and concentrating it into a tea that is extremely potent, beautiful, and easy to drink while greatly reducing nausea. It is a medicine I feel deeply honored and privileged to share.

On September 12th we will move into a slower integration-focused day devoted to rest, nourishment, nervous system regulation, embodiment, and connection.

Women will have the option to work with a gentle microdose of Huachuma throughout the day to support softness, grounding, emotional openness, connection to the body, and deeper integration of the previous evening’s ceremony.

Throughout the day we will move through intentional embodiment exercises including yoga, stretching, breathwork, nervous system regulation practices, intuitive movement, touch, and body-based healing work designed to help women safely reconnect with themselves through presence, softness, sensation, and authentic feeling.

Rather than pushing through healing mentally, this day is designed to support the body in slowly unwinding and releasing what has been held physically, emotionally, and energetically.

We will also spend intentional time in nature, gather in sharing circles, and create space for reflection, nourishment, integration, and sisterhood.

That evening we will transition into an immersive sound bath designed to support restoration, emotional release, grounding, softness, and deeper connection to the heart and body.

On September 13th we will gather for our second evening ceremony working with Sassafras — a specially formulated alchemical plant medicine synergized to help open the heart and access deep blockages held within the emotional body, with the profound and unique capacity to do so without needing to go directly into the trauma itself — or the emotional reaction to it — as it helps quiet the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for the fight-or-flight response. This is part of what makes this medicine so unique and so powerful.

In this ceremony we will also be working with the Master Plant Teacher Bobinsana — a shrub with bright pink flowers that grows by the fresh waters of the Amazon and carries the energy of the Cosmic Mermaid, La Sirenita.

Bobinsana is a deeply feminine heart-opening plant that fosters empathy, compassion, emotional connection, grounding, dreamwork, and connection to nature and spirit. She is known as a weaver of dreams, helping individuals receive teachings, insight, healing, and messages through the dream space.

It is said that the spirit of Bobinsana can provide comfort to those experiencing grief, heartbreak, emotional heaviness, or loss. She has also traditionally been used by curanderas to help dissolve the barriers of time and assist individuals in reconnecting with moments where fragmentation or trauma occurred — a practice often referred to as soul retrieval.

There will also be opportunities before, during, and after ceremony to receive Melipona — sacred eye drops similar to Sananga used to support clear vision, energetic cleansing, grounding, and the clearing of stagnation from the field.

On September 14th we will gather for breakfast, integration exercises, a closing sharing circle, and intentional space to reflect on the work we have experienced together before completing our time on the land and transitioning back into daily life.

Women are welcome to attend the full retreat experience or choose to attend only one of the two ceremonies if they are unable to stretch their schedules to attend both.

ABOUT THE WORK

One unique aspect of this retreat is that while the space is intentionally designed for women and centered around feminine healing, the ceremonies themselves will be held by both masculine and feminine facilitators — including Ima alongside Ally and Christina.

This was created with deep intentionality.

Many women carry profound wounds, distortions, protections, grief, fear, mistrust, or unresolved experiences connected to both the masculine and feminine. Often healing requires more than simply being surrounded by one polarity alone — it requires experiencing new forms of safety, presence, integrity, softness, receptivity, leadership, support, and relational balance between both energies.

Throughout the retreat, women will be held within a carefully created container where healthy masculine and feminine energies are working together in harmony rather than opposition.

Together, this creates a unique healing field where women are not only reconnecting with themselves internally, but are also given the opportunity to experience healthier dynamics between masculine and feminine energy externally as well.

For many women, this becomes an unexpectedly profound part of the healing itself, through the nervous system experiencing something different and a new somatic attunement to:

Safety.
Presence.
Integrity.
Softness.
Connection.
And genuine relational harmony.
